A proud moment for A-Star to see its emblem at the peak of the world: Min Darlami

The flag of A-Star Financial Solutions has been hoisted at the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest, the UK-based business firm proudly confirms.

Tejen Gurung, a serving Gurkha soldier in the British Army, carried the flag of the established financial firm to the summit of the Mount Everest on May 31.

Along with the flag of A-Star, Mr Gurung also hoisted the flag of Brigade of Gorkha Cricket Club. A-Star Financial Solutions has been a proud sponsor of the cricket club.

Gurung climbed the Mt. Everest from Elite Expeditions, a mountaineering company owned by a celebrity mountaineer Nims Purja. Tejen Gurung reached the summit of Everest along with Nims Purja.

After climbing Mt. Everest, Gurung, Bimal Purja and Nims Purja have also climbed another mountain Lhotse together.

Min Darlami, Principal Chartered Financial Advisor of the A-Star Financial Solutions, said that it was a proud moment for the company and colleagues to see their  emblem on the summit of the Mount Everest. 

“Just like hoisting our flag at the peak of the mountain, we are committed to provide high quality services to our customers,” said Mr Darlami.

A-Star Financial Solutions, which celebrated its 10th anniversary recently, has been helping customers with business services, but also working for community empowerment and youth motivation.
