London. Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) UK Vice President Sunil Khadka is set to run for the President for the next term.
Khadka, who also heads the charity department of the association, went to the media today.
“I feel that I have at least managed to fulfil my basic responsibilities as the vice president, and now voters would appreciate my experiences and dedication for the job”, he told Nepal Mamila.
Mr Khadka, a catering and property businessman, has been involved in NRNA’s charitable activities for a long time.
In recent days, Khadka has garnered appreciation for supplying free food to doctors, nurses, police and other workers on the front lines to save corona-infected patients.
Speaking with Nepal Mamila, he claimed that his decision to run in the election followed regular advice from his well-wishers.
